Package request

Before a package is created and used, a package request is entry is created. A package request is created as soon as you click Create package and shows all the details on how a package is created as well as any errors that might occur if something goes wrong

To view the details of a package request, navigate to the Dashboard >> Package Request History and click the reference.

A package request can be in any of the states:

• waiting when it's waiting for the background system to pick the request up
• in progress when the background system builds the package
• canceled
• error
• success

When viewing a packaga request that is in progress you can see the details of the request as soon as they happen without the need to refresh the page.

As soon as a package request finishes successfully you can view the created package as well as what versions the created package contains

In case of an error, the package request will be marked as error and a package will not be created
